This week is all about seeing what’s just over the horizon. Our Year 9 men have embarked on the Year 9 Challenge and for the next month will be venturing into areas that are, for some, uncharted areas of themselves. Things like pushing yourself to go the next kilometre in the woods, or cooking a meal or waiting a table. For others, it will be the never before explored adventure of ironing a shirt. For the men in the final stages of completing Year 12, the gates of the College are opening and the last trip up Tambourine Bay Road is being made. They are beginning an entirely new journey. One that will lead them into our world. I hope we’ve equipped them well for what they discover out there, and that they remember: the gates will always remain open for them.
HERE’S THIS WEEK’S REFLECTION:
How do you get where you need to be?
Just keep putting one foot in front of the other. Keep your true destination in sight and keep walking.
One step at a time…
